The New Heavy Metal Money Newsetter!

Hello and Welcome to the new and improved Heavy Metal Money Newsletter! I’m excited to relaunch an email newsletter where we’ll share original content as well as news, information, strategies and tactics from around the web on how to take control of your finances.

We all have our own story about money, We’ll be sharing my own story of how I retired from my nine to five job at the age of 50. We’ll also share stories from so many others on how they either conquered debt, payed off their home, travel hacked their amazing trip, or side hustled their way to a new car! This is gonna be fun!

We’ll also talk about the non-money side of finance as well. We’ll discuss the challenges of mental health and anxiety, the scarcity or abundance mindsets that come from money.

In addition to original content, news, and current events. We’ll be breaking down our newsletter into these four topics.

Earning • Spending • Saving • Investing

Earning - This is the big one! We all earn money. We’ll discuss earning from your regular job, or are you an independent contractor? We’ll look at other ways to earn income, from selling coloring books on Etsy, to the side hustle of selling on Amazon!

Spending - We’ll explore how people spend their hard earned money. Ways to spend wisely, spend intentionally, or when to blow that wad of cash on something shiny!

Saving - this can be aligned with Spending as well. But how to save money and live life more frugally, but also saving for an emergency fund, saving for a down payment for a home, or that pointy guitar you’ve been eyeing.

Investing - This can be the hardest of all. Keeping your eye on the prize that is later in life. Sometimes years and years away. We’ll explore investing in your future, retirement and beyond.
